Klamath Basin Pride 2023
A logo, marketing collateral, and website were developed for Klamath Basin Pride, a nonprofit organization that faced significant hostility from intolerant individuals the previous year (2022). The project brief was to craft branding materials that conveyed a strong sense of local community, and queer identity – with an emphasis on the spirit of celebration. The pelican was chosen as the logo graphic as it is a de facto symbol of the Klamath Basin.
Klamath Community College
Klamath Community College is a small, rural community college in Klamath Falls, Oregon. In early 2019 the marketing and communications department of the college was tasked to re-brand the school in preparation for the upcoming 25th anniversary of the college’s founding. The primary objective was to create a modern and highly distinctive logo that could be effectively employed in various applications, with a graphic that would work in small size, addressing a limitation of the previous logo. Throughout 2019 I fine-tuned elements such as color schemes, typefaces, and layout. This culminated in a vertical and a horizontal logo. These fresh logos were officially unveiled in 2020, coinciding with a redesign of the college’s mascot, Baxter.
