Process and Context

The Sound and Fury series is my exploration of transforming the language historically used to control and denigrate women into tangible, physical objects. By doing so, I force these words to confront the viewer, demanding recognition and engagement. Each piece challenges the passive consumption of this harmful rhetoric, turning it into something that cannot be ignored or dismissed. In this series, the power of language is laid bare, its impact made visible and unavoidable, so that it can no longer be allowed to exist unchallenged.
